The categories represent the various venues found at the destination. Once any category is selected the map will display flags for all the venues for this category. These flags also have Sub Categories that allow the user to identify the venue at a glance.

Gearing Up- Catalog of activity and travel gear for the various venues at the destination. Nightlife- The where to go to have a cocktail or to dance the night away. Activities- All the things vacationers can do while visiting the destination from golf to parasailing. Transportation- Featured transportation venues at the destination from getting there to getting around. Shopping- Know where to get clothes, souvenirs or gifts with a complete list of the destination. Tours- If you want to see the sights, this category can lead you the way. Lodging- A list of the lodging and accommodation options for the destination. Services- A list of various services available at the destination from spas to photography needs. Fishing- Learn about the destination's fishing spots as well as a few local ones including fishing charters. Dining- A list of various restaurant options for the destination. Points of Interest- The many unique venues natural and historic located at the destination. Diving- A reference for all the dive site and diving shops at the destination.

The sub categories are detail representations of the category that display on the 3D map for the user to identify the specific venue at a glance for easy access to the desired information. Some categories have no need for further detail and only displays the category.

The Venue Display is revealed when a flag is selected on the 3D map. This display details the venue's information, photos and video. Each display includes a sub men of selections that allow the users to learn and see more of the venue. Each display sub menu has a small AquaOdysseas 'O' that once selected gives the travel statistics and rating for the venue.

The 3D map also displays the local geographical information and icons for particular information pertaining to that location such as public restrooms and public telephones.
